The Spurs enter the 2026-27 season again looking like a contender for the NBA Finals, and all eyes will of course be on Victor Wembanyama. But if the Spurs want to take the next step, the continued growth of Dylan Harper could be the key.
Overall this is a player I like a lot (but more importantly, the profitability math behind grading his cards is very strong). In his rookie season he showed the rare combination of being both a strong defensive guard and shot creator, all while playing meaningful minutes in the Spurs NBA Finals run.
For each of the cards below, I’m willing to (and do) pay above “raw market price” because the profitability on each card is so high. I will try to indicate the price points that I’m willing to buy each of these cards. Additionally, different parallels are worth considering for each. For instance, basically every Topps Chrome #252 parallel is worth buying at the right price, but for the sake of being concise I will only present three of these.

2025 Topps Chrome #252
I’ve bought tons of this product, and specifically the three cards below. Like I mentioned above, there are other profitable parallels, but these are three of the most common ones to find. I will also provide a general link to all Dylan Harper Topps Chrome #252 cards here:
Also note that Topps Chrome has released its Topps Chrome Update product recently. I would recommend avoiding those for now: there is just not enough data to have reliable Gem Rates and market values needed to make smart buying and grading decisions.

Notes: This is another one that I’ve bought a lot of, and one of the reasons for that is it’s a bit easier to grade, with the Gem Rate on this card above 50%.
With that said, make sure that you only buy these in the Topps original seal (as pictured below).
Oftentimes, when a seller takes the card out of the seal it’s because they were evaluating the card for grading and decided that it was not a PSA 10 candidate. It’s best to avoid these.
Given the strong profitability math, I’m happy to pay over $400 for a clean, sealed copy.

Notes: This is a great card to buy given the high Gem Rate and strong grading math, but of course the issue here will be that these are a bit more rare than the Topps Chrome #252 cards from above.
I’d actually be willing to pay as high as around $700 for this card, given that a PSA 10 is worth nearly $2K, but only if I was very confident in the condition.
Side note: there is another version of this card with Harper dribbling the ball in his right hand, which is a different but similar card. It’s still buyable, but the grading math is not as strong as this one.
