The Most Profitable Victor Wembanyama Cards To Grade Right Now
Wemby's MVP odds are rising and his cards have never been more profitable to grade.
Victor Wembanyama thinks he should be the league’s MVP this season, and apparently the card market agrees. Wemby cards are surging, and that’s creating a huge buying window for card graders.
We generally look to buy cards with positive price momentum, because PSA 10 prices usually rise before raw prices catch up (read more about this approach here and here). You can see this phenomenon very clearly with the Victor Wembanyama Prizm Silver market.
Wemby’s PSA 10 Prizm Silver Rookie Card is up over 60% in the last 30 days:
While the raw market is trailing with just 23.8% gains over the same time:
This post is going to break down some of the top Wemby cards you can grade, with a few additional thoughts at the very end. With that said, Victor Wembanyama is not the only player that’s hot. The card market is in a great place for graders, with Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge, and others also surging.

Notes: This card doesn’t quite have supply like some of the other Prizm cards, but there are still quite a few on the market. Many Wembanyama cards are like this — highly profitable but with only 10 to 20 PSA 10 sales per month as compared to the more liquid/abundant cards above. These cards are also worth having on your radar, but didn’t make the cut for this article.
Final Thoughts
Grading Notes: In general, all of these cards grade well. The corners are sturdy, and on the Prizms in particular, the borders are large which means that many of these are centered within PSA’s 55/45 guidelines. Just be aware that the front surfaces on these cards can scratch easily.
Market Outlook: I expect we’ll see these raw cards rise in value quickly as they catch up to the grading math (although it’s possible that graded cards fall instead). This happens when people like us enter the market and start buying them at profitable prices. That doesn’t fundamentally change the strategy to target these cards now, but you should be aware that these markets are moving quickly right now. We’ll be buying these cards aggressively for the foreseeable future.
